Conference Haul Supporting Local Charities
Conference Haul International supporting local Charities.
We are really proud to be have been in a position to once again support Christine Lindsay of The Gary Mason Charity by supplying a truck, trailer and drivers Ray and Pauline Johnson for The London Borough of Sutton's London New Year Day's Parade float. All of London's 31 Boroughs, along with the City of Westminster, have been involved in the parade. All entrants are competing for a share of the £40,000 charity cash prize. Once again Christine Lindsay has worked tirelessly for the Mayor of Sutton's chosen charities to provide a float and theme that will win a place in the competition and greatly needed money for charity. This year the London Borough of Sutton's float came 5th with a cash prize of £6,000 for the Mayor's chosen local charities. Last night Terry Goodwin of Conference Haul attended a reception with The Worshipful, the Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton, Cllr Jean Crosby when the cheque for £6,000 was presented. Together with the other major sponsor Subsea7, plus all of the volunteers and participants we were all able to help Sutton achieve this magnificent sum for local charities.
